How to choose pendant lights for your dining room

Pendant lights are available in a variety of styles, shapes, and finishes. While they’re simpler in design than their more ornate cousin, the chandelier, they share similar properties. They’re often hung above the dining room table to serve as overhead lighting and are suspended from the ceiling via chain or rod. When selecting your light, first consider your aesthetic. In general, you’ll need multiple pendant lights over dining tables that are 6 feet or longer. If you have a larger round table, consider a pendant with a larger diameter instead of multiple fixtures.
