3daysofdesign 2023

During 3daysofdesign 2023, Louis Poulsen welcomed visitors to Kuglegården in Copenhagen under the theme The First House of Light. The exhibition invited guests to explore how light, craft and contemporary interpretation meet within the brand’s long design tradition. Across three days, architects, designers, journalists and design enthusiasts gathered to experience installations, exhibitions and conversations centred around the philosophy of shaping light.

The Hut exhibition

At the centre of the exhibition stood The Hut, presenting the Louis Poulsen x Home in Heven collaboration.

Created together with the New York–based design studio founded by Breanna Box and Peter Dupont, the exhibition explored new interpretations of classic Louis Poulsen designs. Familiar silhouettes were transformed through expressive glass forms, sculptural details and unexpected proportions

Louis Poulsen x Home in Heven

The installation offered a contemporary perspective on the brand’s heritage while maintaining the principles that define Louis Poulsen lighting — carefully shaped, glare-free light and a deep respect for craftsmanship.
